My mother started giving me these beautiful dishes in the early '70s and since I have not lived in Newfoundland since 1969, I have not been able to complete my set. I have 7 cups and saucers, half a dozen tea plates, cream and sugar, salt and pepper and the butter dish. I had so wished that I had the dinner or salad plates, but have never found it abailable to sale whenever I have gone home. Is it still available for sale?

In 1973, Sam Wilansky, a commisioner with The Boy Scouts of Canada in Nfld. provided the council a starter set of this china as a 'goodbye' gift to me when I resigned as Secretary of the BS of C , and moved to New Brunswick. I have added quite a few pieces to the collection but there are many more I didn't even know existed. I gave away 6 of my 12 cups and saucers (footed) to a Nfld. friend as a gift, not thinking I could never replace them again. I would love to replace them. Let me know if you see any around.

This pattern hass been our family since the 60's and has been added as gifts to on many occassions. We do have a large collection, but surprised by the ones that we do not have. We have other pieces that are not pictured on your site. I would also be interested as to where we can purchase other items.

I was very impressed with the version of Ode to Newfoundland you have on this site. The china pieces I have I found at Value Village in North Bay ON. I have a small rectangular dish and a small bowl similar to the open sugar dish. I like to collect souvenir dishes from all the provinces and am pleased to have these.
